International Wheelchair Day is a celebration of the difference a wheelchair makes in the life of those who use them. It aims to celebrate the great work of people who make the World a better and more accessible place for people with mobility issues as well as respond to the fact there are many tens of millions of people in the World who need a wheelchair but are unable to acquire them.
