#1259 FAVOURITE BRICK FRIDAY: Technic Axle

This week, we are highlighting the surprisingly versatile technic axle. Besides its important structural role in all sorts of technic-based builds, whether they’re vehicles or characters, technic axles themselves can play visible and effective roles in MOCs! Brickthing on Flickr uses the x-shaped cross-section of technic axles to create an adorable bird mosaic of the Kiwi bird native to Aotearoa New Zealand, while @elemental_lego expertly uses technic axles in two microscale Star Wars landscapes: the rocky cliffs of Mustafar and the soaring skyscrapers of Coruscant.
