#3052 HISTORY OF BUILDING: Pre-Classic Era (1949-1975)

LEGO has changed a lot over the years, and going through that development has been done many times before, but in this new series, we want to do something a little bit different- considering the reasons WHY changes and developments were made and the various strategies and priorities that have been used in designing LEGO models.

In this first post, we dive into the first era, when the groundworks of what “feels like” LEGO were laid, as conventions of accuracy and the wider toy industry were sacrificed in favour of the LEGO brand of creativity.
