LEGO started releasing Monster JamTM sets in 2021, so it’s about time we finally had a member of the Tips&Bricks team tackle a review. Naturally, a set based on a real monster truck based on a fictional unicorn seemed to be the correct choice. Let’s take a look at where this set excels… and where it could use some improvement.
🧱 Parts (4) – 17 new recolors is in a set this size is just mind boggling!
🥸 Accuracy (4) – This is very clearly a sparkly unicorn monster truck.
🔧 Techniques (2) – The mane and color transitions really carried this.
📷 Display (2) – Displays well as a unicorn but is boxy with exposed Technic.
💰 Value (1) – Coming in at over 14¢/12p per piece seems excessive!
