Today we’re reviewing and comparing 3 new Valentine’s Day themed sets. If you’re a last minute gift giver (we know you’re out there) or you’re interested to see what techniques and parts this sets have to offer, this is the perfect way to quickly figure out which set to get! We were sent these sets by LEGO to review but our view is unbiased and we aim to provide a unique review from the perspective of a MOC builder and fan of building techniques.
We compare the techniques used in 40460 Tulips and 40461 Roses, as well as how this Roses set compares to the 18+ Botanical Collection 10280 Flower Bouquet’s Rose technique (spoiler alert: they’re nearly identical!).
40462 Valentine’s Brown Bear was a different kind of build, but in the end, we used our score system to rank all the sets out of 100 (giving 20 points to each of a variety of factors) to determine which of the three is the best overall set AND which set is best for your gift giving needs! While of course highlighting which parts are new, rare, or recolors to add to your collection.
