#1370 FAVOURITE BRICK FRIDAY: 39262 Crown with 5 Points, Open Center Stud

What do trees, crowns, flowers, buildings, and eggs all have in common? You can build them all, and more – using the crown with 5 points! This part was introduced as part of the Lego Movie 2’s Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi, but here, @brick.ninja uses lots of them to create textured tree trunks, and Linnea uses them to show hatching turtles (build available on Pehter Ambrahamsson’s Flickr page). Meanwhile, @forlornempire uses the piece to add detail to a microscale building, and @iv_lego uses it to build beautiful flowers! Finally, TAFOL on Flickr uses the crown as intended, adding a cute and quirky touch to a frog that is much bigger than the crown.

Which is your favourite of these techniques? Do you have any other ideas for how to use this piece? Let us know!
