#1480 SET REVIEW – 21325 Medieval Blacksmith

Today’s review involves arguably the brightest roof ever seen in an official LEGO release; yes, we are of course talking about set 21235 Medieval Blacksmith! Boasting an enormous number of shield pieces and the return of the Black Falcon knights, this Ideas set by LEGO fan designer Clemens Fiedler is an absolute stand-out for medieval fans everywhere. The slightly uncommon subject for a build makes for a really genuine passion project that is crammed to bursting with incredible details and greenery.

We were sent this set by LEGO but our view is unbiased and we aim to provide a unique review from the perspective of a MOC builder and fan of building techniques. We score sets out of 100, giving 20 points each for a variety of factors.

Join us as we examine some of these details as well as the excellent techniques used to create a truly memorable (and affordable!) display piece. Also, despite the opening line, the brightest roof is not a guarantee – let us know of any rivals in the comments below!
