R2-D2 – a fan favourite and beloved character from the Star Wars universe. The 2012 model fetched a heavy price after it was retired which is why many were thrilled for the set to be relaunched in 2021.
In our review we deep dive into the building techniques and mechanisms, discovering the improvements from the previous model. While the part selection is nothing special (which can be a draw for MOC builder and AFOLs in general), the model is impressive on display with a high level of accuracy and playful features.
We think this is must have set for Star Wars fans – don’t skip on it if you want it, as it’s bound to double in price once it retires!
