#1621 MOC OF THE WEEK: Sunset of Empires by Nathan Smith aka @circus_robot

Can you believe this image was created with barely any photoshop? In this spectacular build, Nathan Smith combines a micro scale background to lighting and perspective techniques to render an impression of depth.

We like that the builder was able to create this stunning medieval scene while posing a critical look on this period. From the wounded soldiers on the cart to the visible sorrow of the knight offering a fallen soldier sword to the family, the build puts forward realities that are often hidden in toys depicting this period.

Let us take you behind the scenes and appreciate the attention to every detail within that build.
