A classic 1989 toy makes a triumphant entrance into the LEGO world with the brick-built Nintendo Game Boy.

Yes, we know we are late to the game (this set was released last year)! But after seeing other reviewers’ videos of the techniques, we knew this was a set that deserved a Tips&Bricks set review and build breakdown.
And (Game) boy are we glad we requested it from LEGO to review – because this set is spectacular! So spectacular, in fact, that we gave it a perfect score. Our second 25/25 we have given out this year!
🎮 Parts: Debatably the best ever? Only $60 with parts more impressive than the $1000 Death Star.
🎮 Techniques: Jaw-dropping techniques, raising the bar for design!
🎮 Accuracy: A 1:1 model with buttons and levers that actually function like the real Game Boy.
🎮 Display: Two display stands and three easy-to-swap display screens.
🎮 Value: One of the most premium-feeling products LEGO has released, ever.
This set now has the Nintendo seal of approval AND the Tips&Bricks seal of approval! Do you agree with our perfect score? Give us your thoughts on this set in the comments!
