#1388 SET REVIEW: Harry Potter BrickHeadz

Today we’re reviewing the latest Harry Potter BrickHeadz, which give you quite the selection of main characters! We were sent these sets by LEGO but our view is unbiased and we aim to provide a unique review from the perspective of a MOC builder and fan of building techniques.

First up is 40495: Harry, Hermione, Ron & Hagrid, which we do really like as it gives you the main three and everyone’s favourite half giant. Hagrid has already been seen in BrickHeadz form so it is maybe an odd choice. None of the figures use an amazing techinques but they do manage to recreate them in the classic, adorable BrickHeadz style.

For us, 40496: Voldemort, Nagini & Bellatrix, is a much more interesting set, which great pieces and techniques. Bellatrix has to be our favourite, featuring two ingenious techniques. Overall we prefer this set compared to 40495, but at the end of the day it’ll be whether you want the good or bad guys.

Let us know your thoughts on both sets in the comments!
